Applications

The APIs can be used to power a number of different applications. This section has information about some of the most common applications and some best practices for how to implement them.

Operator: Availability upload

This is an application used by operators and marketing agents to automatically upload fleet availability information to the Avinode Marketplace. Having up to date availability information promotes the generation of high quality RFQ's from the brokers in the Marketplace. This application is often integrated into fleet management software and other software used to keep track of aircraft movements and activities.

Operator: Trip messaging

This is an application used by operators to handle RFQs that brokers in the Marketplace send to them. When the operator handles the RFQs, the responses are automatically communicated to the brokers in the Marketplace. This application is often integrated into quoting tools and fleet management software.

End-client: Trip search

This is an application that a company makes available to their end-clients. The application offers the end-clients the possibility to find information about available lift for trips they are planning. The information can include aircraft details, flight times, estimated prices, etc. The end-client can then send a request to the company owning the application for the lift options that are of interest.
